At just eight months old and a tiny 15 pounds, Dottie is proof that strength doesn’t come from size—it comes from heart.
This pretty, petite pittie has already fought through more than most. From parvo to ringworm and everything in between… she’s a true little survivor. And somehow, through it all, she’s held onto the most beautiful spirit.
Dottie is currently in our Paws of Hope program, where she’s learning structure, confidence, and all the skills she needs to thrive. She’s working hard toward her AKC Canine Good Citizen certification—building trust, mastering commands, and showing us every day just how special she is.
She’s happy. She’s resilient. She greets the world with joy, even after everything she’s been through.
She still has a little growing (and filling out) to do… but her heart? It’s already overflowing with love.
Dottie is the kind of dog who reminds you what second chances are all about. And we can’t wait for her to find the person who will give her the life she’s been fighting for.
