Pongo is a gentle soul still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Right now, he can be a bit shy and unsure—but beneath that softness is a truly special dog just waiting to come out of his shell.
With patience, kindness, and a little time, Pongo is already beginning to show us who he really is… and it’s beautiful to watch. We know that in the right home, with someone willing to go at his pace, he will blossom into an incredibly loyal, devoted companion.
Estimated to be between 3–5 years old, Pongo is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and currently in training through our Paws of Hope program—working toward his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. He’s learning structure, confidence, and trust every single day.
Pongo doesn’t need perfection—he just needs someone willing to believe in him. And once he feels safe… he’ll give you everything.
